The main MND Association Website has a huge amount of useful information including articles on what MND is, what help is available, benefits and financial support, a dedicated section with advice for Carers and a whole lot more.
We can provide support to local people affected by MND in a number of ways. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any of the people on the Contact Us page if you would like more information, or use the Contact form below.
We have a team of trained Association Visitors who offer a befriending role, providing support, information, and an on-going link with the MND Association to people living with MND.
We can provide practical support in the form of liaison with health and social care professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and the medical profession, and we can provide specialist equipment to improve the quality of life of all those affected by the disease.
We normally hold monthly branch meetings to allow anyone affected by MND in the local area to share experiences and ideas, but these are currently being held online with Zoom calls. Details are on the Branch Support Meetings page. Please do join us if you can.
You can contact members of the North East Wales branch using the details on the Contact Us page, or send a message using the form below.
